Short Plays by Friends Theatre Group

Author: Chamila Priyanka
Date:18/11/2010
Source: Sri Lankan Theatre

Director’s Note

The main emphasis in the three short plays are given to the deceit, suppression experienced by Sri Lankan youth going in search of love, attention, identity. As a result the youth would turn out to be non political, non social individuals. Due to this situation some would eventually turn out to be social out casts who express anger and hate towards the society. The people who are responsible and should pay attention to those flights are turning themselves ignoring what they are supposed to do.
